THE BACK TO BASICS PROJECT
Since its introduction in May 2021, our Back To Basic line of wines wanted to send a concrete message in support of the environment and at the same time celebrate the virtuous practice of the circular economy in its various forms.
Back to Basic is in fact a line that goes beyond the concept of organic wine, in fact the entire supply chain is involved through the use of six environmentally friendly elements: grapes, glass, cork, capsule, label and packaging carton. The certified organic and vegan grapes come exclusively from the winery's own vineyards, the bottle is made of 94 percent recycled glass and the cork of sustainable cork, the label is obtained from thewaste of cotton industry processing and with the least possible use of ink, and the capsule and packaging carton are derived entirely from recycled material.
This project was deliberately created on the occasion of our winery's 40th year in business, which it celebrated by embracing the concept of "basic" understood as a celebration of the winery's essential and identity values.
A concrete pro-environment message that aims to go beyond the very concept of an organic product to embrace a broader perspective of sustainability, in a process of creating and recycling all materials used.
