"Food pairing" - 5 quick and thirst-quenching aperitif-saving recipes with our "LIVE BIO" bitters.

Cheers to summer, long days at the beach or in the mountains, and drinks with friends!

The LIVE BIO is our completely organic and vegan bitter that colors all your cocktails with amaranth. A 100% organic and vegan certified bitter made by processing water, sugar, alcohol, herb extract, roots and fruit with a concentrate of black currant, apple and carrot. Citrusy scents reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast with light balsamic notes make it ideal for creating many summer recipes.

Here are 5 cool, thirst-quenching recipes that will save your summer aperitifs!

  • LIVE BIO SMOOTH

Ingredients:

90 ml of LIVE BITTER BIO
1 ice cube
1 lemon wedge

Procedure:

In a digestive glass pour 90 ml of BITTER LIVE BIO, add an ice cube and a lemon wedge as garnish.

  • ORGANIC BALSAMIC SPRITZ

Ingredients:

2 parts LIVE BITTER BIO
3 parts PROSECCO DOC EXTRA-DRY "m-use"
1 part sparkling water
1 leaf of sage
1 sprig of rosemary
1 lemon wedge
ice cubes

Procedure:

In a goblet add a few ice cubes, a lemon wedge, a sprig of rosemary and a sage leaf. Pour in sequence 2 parts LIVE BITTER BIO, 3 parts PROSECCO DOC EXTRA-DRY "m-use" and 1 part seltzer or sparkling water. Stir gently with a cocktail stirrer.

  • TROPICAL ORGANIC SPRITZ

Ingredients:

2 parts LIVE BITTER BIO
3 parts PROSECCO DOC EXTRA-DRY "m-use"
1 part sparkling water
1 peach wedge
1 apricot wedge
a handful of blueberries
ice cubes decorated with fresh fruit

Procedure:

In a goblet add a few ice cubes decorated with fresh fruit, a handful of blueberries, 1 peach wedge and 1 apricot wedge. Pour in sequence 2 parts LIVE BITTER BIO, 3 parts PROSECCO DOC EXTRA-DRY "m-use" and 1 part seltzer or sparkling water. Stir gently with a cocktail stirrer. Garnish with a few mint leaves.

  • ORGANIC FROZEN SPRITZ

Ingredients:

1 part LIVE BITTER BIO
1 part PROSECCO DOC EXTRA-DRY "m-use"
3 parts apricot puree
1/2 lemon juice
1 teaspoon brown sugar
some rosemary and lemon to decorate

Procedure:

Fill an Old Fashioned glass with ice. Meanwhile, blend apricots until pureed to which add ½ lemon juice, 1 teaspoon brown sugar and 1 part LIVE BITTER BIO. Pour into the glass and add 1 part PROSECCO DOC EXTRA-DRY "m-use." Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a lemon wedge.

  • CLASSIC ORGANIC SPRITZ

Ingredients: 

2 part LIVE BIO BITTER bitter
3 parts PROSECCO DOC EXTRA-DRY "m-use"
1 part sparkling water or seltzer
Ice
1 orange slice

Procedure:

In a rock glass or large wine glass add a few ice cubes. Pour in sequence 2 parts LIVE BITTER BIO, 3 parts PROSECCO DOC EXTRA-DRY "m-use" and 1 part seltzer or sparkling water. Garnish with a slice of orange.
