"Food pairing" - An alternative to the usual Spritz? Make it Organic!

Although it may seem like just one of the lightest drinks in the world, the Spritz encompasses within a glass all the taste of tradition, conviviality and lightness desired to end the day on a high note.

If we consider that the spritzes consumed daily in the Veneto region alone fluctuate between 300,000, we can actually understand why the Spritz has now become one of the most popular cocktails in Italy. Born in Veneto under the Austro-Hungarian Empire, however, this drink was consolidated through the addition of seltzer in the 1920s and 1930s between the territories of Venice and Padua.
Some call it "Il Bianchin," others "Pirlo," or still others "Spruzzato," in short, in Italy the Spritz adapts to individual regional traditions, modifying itself in both recipe and names but never losing the conviviality with which it is consumed.

Although it may seem like just one of the lightest drinks in the world, the Spritz encapsulates within a glass all the taste of tradition, conviviality and lightness desired for an aperitif or to end the day on a high note.

What if we told you that you can dare more? What if we told you that through organic culture you can bring new vitality to an already delicious recipe?

Our Bitter

The Live Bio is a completely organic and vegan bitter made by processing water, sugar, alcohol, herb, root and fruit extract with a blackcurrant, apple and carrot concentrate. It is an alternative way of making aperitifs that can be nicely paired with traditional Prosecco DOC but also refreshed and mixed with orange juice and fresh fruit for summer cocktails, also aided by its low alcohol content (15 percent).

Organic Spritz Recipe

Ingredients

3 parts organic Prosecco with no added sulfites

1 part organic "Live Bio" bitters

1 part sparkling water (or if you prefer organic soda).

Ice and half an orange slice

Proceedings

Spritz Bio is prepared in a rock glass or large wine glass.
You need to pour some ice cubes and then the Prosecco Spumante
Add the sparkling water or soda and finally pour in circular motions the Live Bio to prevent it from settling only on the bottom. The spritz is ready by garnishing it with a slice of orange!
