Two beautiful mentions at Wine Without Walls, the competition dedicated to organic wines organized on the occasion of Vinitaly 2022
Finally after two years of forced stop, Vinitaly, one of the most important Italian wine fairs, is back in attendance. And with her also Wine Without Wall, the competition organized by Veronafiere precisely on the occasion of the event.
And exactly in this last edition, our wines were a great success among the jury of the certified organic wine section of the "5StarWines" guide.
Our Metodo Classico Brut Nature received a score of 91 points: a great success that rewards the constant effort placed on this wine and the various processes that improve every year, as well as the months of resting on the lees, which to date add up to 36. A sparkling wine from Chardonnay and Manzoni Bianco grapes , with a straw-yellow color and fine, persistent perlage that you can come and taste at the winery.
The second award, on the other hand, was given to "Huakai", which scored 90 points. A white wine from resistant Bronner grapes, with ripe fruit notes and an elegant structure. A piwi wine that is giving us so much satisfaction and for which the commitment in piwi viticulture is really precise and enormous, especially for the minimal environmental impact that these vines have: "Huakai" is already a bronze medalist at the Challenge Millesime Bio 2022 and a gold medalist with 93 points at the International Piwi Wine Awards 2021.
"A moment we have been waiting for a long time and it has finally arrived: after a long time we were able to see and hug our customers again. An edition, that of Vinitaly 2022, which was more than satisfactory from several points of view. On the one hand, our wines that shined in the organic section of a national competition and that once again proved that with commitment and respect for nature it is possible to obtain high quality wines, the main purpose of our work. On the other hand, excellent results on the commercial front as well. Despite the fact that the situation has not completely returned to normal, together with the moment of world tension, which have prevented some markets from being present, we can consider ourselves more than happy with the new contacts we have made, always with the aim of consolidating past ties and creating future ones "-these are the words of Sabrina Rodelli, export manager and co-owner of La Cantina Pizzolato.
